Ittefaq exists because the two hardest things to verify online — someone's profession and someone's intentions — are exactly the two things that matter most when you're looking for a spouse.
We started Ittefaq after watching too many Muslim doctors and lawyers try to make matrimony work on general platforms — spending more time verifying a claimed credential than actually getting to know someone. Generic matrimony sites ask you to take a bio at face value. Ittefaq checks it first.
We're deliberately narrow. Ittefaq is not trying to be a marriage network for every Muslim professional — it's built specifically around the training pipelines, licensing bodies, and career rhythms of medicine and law, in the United States and Canada. That focus is what lets us verify quickly, match meaningfully, and keep the community small enough to feel trustworthy.
Every member — physician, dentist, resident, fellow, associate, or partner — goes through the same standard: identity confirmed, credentials confirmed, before a single photo is shown.
[Founder name, background, and photo to go here.] We believe this page matters more than almost any other on the site — a marriage platform asking for identity and license documents should show its own identity first. This section will be completed with our founding team's names, professional backgrounds, and a direct way to reach us, before public launch.
